Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Here’s another delicious recipe I sparked up with a Fab touch for I Love Beetroot.
This one is probably the one that resembles the least the original, as I had to use ramekins – due to shitty pans in the flat – and get inventive with puff pastry. Trust me, it’s not an easy job!
As you probably will notice, most ingredients will come up multiple times. The tarts would work very well together for a dinner party – especially when paired up with their lil’ filo cousins.
Funny fact from ILB – I am not sure I’d recommend it for anti-dandruff, but the idea of hair-dye made using beetroot is pretty damn cool!
If you boil beetroots in water and then massage the water into your scalp each night, it works as an effective cure for dandruff. For something a bit more vibrant – since the 16th century, beetroot juice has been used as a natural red dye and the Victorians used beetroot to dye their hair.
These recipes are not sponsored, and only covered ingredient expenses. I genuinely was so impressed I decided to re-interpret them.
