Reading time: just over 2 minutes.
One of the London’s most dynamic and daring group exercise trainers, Melissa brings an honest and raw energy to a fully immersive training experience. She believes that while training should be simple in its form, participants should leave feeling challenged, empowered and inspired. She achieves this through providing clear, recognisable training that gives the participant the opportunity to rise to the challenge, instead of being defeated by it.
When and where did you qualify?
January 2002 in London – A college near Euston. When fitness qualifications weren’t so easy to study for.
How would you define your training style?
Strength, functional training, things to make people feel great.
Favourite piece of equipment or exercise?
Prowler because it takes pure strength and form to get it done.
[Some of the benefits include: “using the prowler utilises several muscles and joints to perform functional movements. The arms and legs work together to coordinate movement, building you a strong core and keeping your body stable. (source)”]
Biggest fitness myth debunked?
That weight loss = happiness.
Favourite classes and gyms…
Love a good spin class, but a bad one is the worst thing ever! Love hitting up Taylor James at Barry’s Bootcamp, Ali Mckenzie at Foundry and Kaya at Psycle.
Where can your clients usually find you?

What is your biggest goal for the next 3/6 months?
Training for ME! My own training has been on the back burner for 2 years due to work so trying to find my training mojo again!
Next challenge booked up…
Toughest – A OCR in June
